The service for Willie will be held at Southover Church (Trinity) in Lewes on 2nd February. This date holds special significance as it would have been Willie’s 85th birthday. It will be a celebration of Willie’s life with a number of speakers including friends, family, and colleagues. All are welcome to attend but please contact Linda in advance so she can know numbers.
The ceremony will take place between 2-5pm, but please try and arrive for 1:30pm as there will be a bagpipe performance. In honour of Willie, the dress code will be colourful ties for gents. (Bonus points for an Arsenal tie) No funeral clothes, unless black is your thing!
Directions
The Church is a short walk from Lewes train station, and there is parking nearby. The address is Southover High St, Lewes BN7 1JH.
